When You Feel Like You Can’t Win

This episode had me all in my feels because we all have seasons as business owners (whether you’re in the pet care space or not) where we question, can I really do this?

Growing a business is uncomfortable.

It requires constantly learning new skills, evaluating ourselves for where we need to grow, and wrestling with big important decisions. It can get easy to get into our heads and to start to doubt ourselves.

In this episode, I discussed ways you can combat these fears when they come up for you. So if you need a good ‘ol fashioned DogCo pep talk today, this one’s for you.

Truths for you to keep close today:

1. If you’ve done it before, you have a demonstrated track record. You can do it again.

It doesn’t matter that circumstances have changed, because at your first success, it was all new circumstances to you at the time as well. The ability to figure out something new is the skillset you learned, and the determination to see it through. That can be applied to whatever is in your path now.

2. Success is more about your ability to endure discomfort and pain than quick wins.

Success requires consistency and conviction - and those are things that are 100% within your own control. Yes it will be hard — that doesn’t mean it’s not worthwhile though.

If this was helpful for you, I’d love for you to subscribe to my podcast and send to a friend that you think needs to hear this today.
